Mary&May - Spicule Retinol PDRN Cream 15g

Mary&May Spicule Retinol PDRN Cream is a concentrated treatment cream designed to target visible fine lines, enlarged-looking pores, loss of firmness and uneven skin texture.

The formula combines 2,000 ppm marine-derived natural micro spicules with nano liposome Retinol and CICA PDRN. Mary&May states that the 80 to 300 micrometre spicules are smaller than pores, with approximately 180,000 to 200,000 contained in each 15g product. The spicule system is designed to complement the delivery of the formula while providing intensive texture, pore and wrinkle care. 

Nano liposome Retinol provides targeted care for visible signs of ageing. The encapsulation approach is designed to improve the stability and delivery of Retinol while helping minimise irritation compared with an unencapsulated approach. 

The formula also contains Sodium DNA, alongside ingredients including Niacinamide, Panthenol, Adenosine, Sodium Hyaluronate and Ceramide NP. This balances the retinol and spicule-focused formula with hydration, soothing and barrier-supporting care.

How to Use

1. Cleanse the face and pat the skin dry.
2. Apply an appropriate amount evenly to the skin.
3. Gently spread along the skin texture without aggressive rubbing.
4. Lightly press with the palms to aid absorption.
5. Avoid the immediate eye and lip areas.
6. Follow with moisturiser if additional hydration is required.
7. For customers new to Retinol or spicule skincare, introduce gradually according to skin tolerance.
8. Apply broad spectrum sunscreen every morning.

Mary&May's directions specify applying the cream evenly to clean skin and allowing it to absorb. 

Retinol and Spicule Precautions

• A temporary prickling or tingling sensation may occur due to the micro spicules
• Avoid aggressive rubbing during and after application
• Avoid applying to broken, wounded or severely irritated skin
• Avoid the immediate eye and lip areas
• Introduce gradually if new to Retinol or spicule skincare
• Avoid combining with strong exfoliating acids, physical scrubs or other potentially irritating treatments in the same routine
• Patch testing is recommended before first use
• Discontinue use if persistent burning, swelling or irritation occurs
• Apply broad spectrum sunscreen every morning
• Retinoid products are generally avoided during pregnancy. Customers who are pregnant, breastfeeding or under medical treatment should consult an appropriate healthcare professional before use
