Authorised brand relationships
A brand has given us authorisation to sell its products under an agreed relationship. This may be a reseller, partner or distribution arrangement.
Parallel imports
Parallel imports are genuine products sourced through an alternative supply channel to the brand's local distribution route. Where applicable, check the disclosure on the product page.
An authentic product does not automatically mean the retailer is an official distributor. We describe our relationship at brand or product level.
How to check your Korean skincare
Start with the seller and supply chain. Packaging alone cannot confirm whether a product is genuine.
1. Check who sold it
Keep your order confirmation and invoice. On a marketplace, check the seller name on the listing and your order.
2. Keep the product details
Photograph the bottle, outer box if available, batch code and expiry date. These details help a supplier or brand investigate.
3. Compare the right version
Compare the same size and formulation using the brand's current information. A different market or packaging update may explain a difference.
4. Ask when you are unsure
A barcode, QR code or online photo alone is not conclusive proof. Ask your retailer for help with the specific product and batch.

RuZu Beauty holds authorisation from The Founders Inc. for distribution and sale of Anua in South Africa. See our brand relationships above for the wording that applies to each brand.
Are parallel imports fake?
No. Parallel imports are genuine products supplied through an alternative distribution channel. That supply route differs from buying through a brand's local authorised distributor.
Why does my packaging look different?
Brands may update packaging, and versions can differ across markets. A difference alone does not prove a product is fake. Contact us with photos and your order details so we can review the specific item.
Can a barcode or QR code prove authenticity?
A barcode or QR code alone cannot establish authenticity. Use a brand's official verification system where one is available, and consider the seller, supply chain and product details together.
What if I question the authenticity of my RuZu purchase?

Can you confirm a product bought from another seller?
We cannot conclusively authenticate another seller's product from photos alone. Ask the retailer you bought from for sourcing information and contact the brand through its official support channel if needed.
